We want every visitor to use this site easily, whatever their abilities or the devices and assistive technologies they rely on. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and the Digital Government Authority’s guidance.
What we have done
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
- Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text in both light and dark modes.
- Correct direction for Arabic and English, with the language marked on every page.
- Clear headings and landmarks for screen readers, and descriptive link names.
- Respect for the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting.
- Pages that work on mobile screens without horizontal scrolling.
- No time limits and no flashing content.
How we tested
We tested the site’s pages in September 2026 with Lighthouse and axe, alongside manual checks of contrast, focus visibility and mobile layout.
Report a barrier
If any part of the site is hard to use, email the address on our contact page with “Accessibility” in the subject, and tell us the page and the problem. We handle these reports as a priority.
